You should see two download links just under where it says the version number. You may choose either site to download from but for this example we will select FileHippo.com.
Once your at File Hippo look in the upper right hand corner for the green download link and select download the latest version. A pop up will appear asking you to save the file. Select save to desktop. Once downloaded , double click on the CCleaner icon on your desktop to open it. The setup wizard will now guide you through the setup process.
Once CCleaner is installed you can right click on your recycling bin and select open CCleaner. Select run cleaner and this efficient little program will now delete your browser cache and free up space on your machine.
After you have finished cleaning your PC be sure to select Registry on the left hand side of the CCleaner software application. Next click Scan for issues, then select fix selected issues. When prompted to backup changes to your registry you may select yes or no depending on your preference.
It's a good idea to get into the habit of checking for Registry errors before and after installing new software or removing software from your PC.
Clearing your cache and fixing Registry errors before they become a problem can extend the life of your computer and keep it running at optimal performance for a long time to come.
